What a great day! There was loads of mud, lots of action and a great time had by all. The site was one of the best I’ve been to. It so big with lots of different games types. They also stick to the rules quite closely as Andrew found out the hard way as he had to face the firing squad for “Talking while dead!”. We got it all on video though( will try get that up soon). I’ll also be posting up pictures!
Our first trip is all set,
We will be going to Fingal Airsoft, http://www.fingalairsoft.com/ a small woodland site.
The cost for members with their own equipment is €25 and
the cost for members needing to rent equipment is €45.
The site also provides food for around €4.99, or you can bring your own.
Games start at around 10 so the bus will be leaving at approx 8am but will be confirmed at a later stage when numbers are final.

So college is starting back up and we’re all sorting out where to live. Having done that I’m starting to organise our freshers event. It will probably be held on Thursday the 25th. It will be a small skirmish in the barrow center. With two teams having maybe a 5 minute battle. Now I need to know who will be able to lend AEGs for the event. Ok, so it was a busy summer. I’ve been on work XP but gonna start planning stuff for the soc in the next few weeks. I wanna set up some fresher events. Get lot’s of members!
Ok so I love the idea of filming while shooting, but I didn’t want to fork out for an expensive camera. So I decided to build one myself. I ordered a mini camera off ebay, was only 2.50 euro.
I needed to think of where to put this. I asked for Idea’s over on boards.ie and a PEQ box was suggested to me. Perfect! I ordered one of these from ebaybanned.com and it was 12 euro delivered. 
I then got my Dremel drill and grinded out the plastic to make it fit. I also added a switch from a computer conponent I had to fill in some gaps with epoxy putty but it was grand. Painted it black and done!
Ok so I booked the hall for monday 4-6. Since this will be the first consider it a trial run. We have four face masks for members with there own AEG and no face protection, and unlimited spaces for those who have their own AEG and face/eye protection. Hope to see you guys there it will be fun. Please let me know if you can attend.
